Danielle Campeau, Director
Danielle Campeau has served as the Director of the Center for Innovation and Business Development at UW-River Falls since 2014 which was created to leverage University resources in support of economic growth and business development in the St. Croix Valley region. In this role, she promotes a culture of innovation on the UW-River Falls campus through development of initiatives including the Innovation Challenge, a student startup competition. Ms. Campeau is also the Director of the Small Business Development Center which contributes to economic growth by offering no-cost consulting services for entrepreneurs and established small businesses. Additionally, Ms. Campeau will serve as the Director of the St. Croix Valley Business Incubator, which will open in May 2017.
Ms. Campeau holds a BS in Biology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Prior to joining the University, she worked at a private healthcare company for 7 years in various roles including managing a clinical support department, project management, information management systems, operations and corporate training. Ms. Campeau serves on the Board of Directors for the River Falls Chamber of Commerce and the River Falls Economic Development Corporation. Danielle and her family reside in Deer Park, Wisconsin.
Katherine Fossler, Business Consultant
Katherine Fossler has experienced business from both sides of the executive desk. After serving as a finance and operations executive in the non-profit sector, Ms. Fossler started and grew a successful fitness/wellness business. After the sale of her business in 2014, Katherine began putting her passion for business and economic development to work as a business consultant. She especially enjoys working with clients on creative problem solving and maximizing resources.
Ms. Fossler holds a BA in Business from St. Catherine University, two Human Resource certificates (SPHR, SHRM-SCP). She is also a certified Kauffman Facilitator and an active member of the Hudson Rise n' Shine Toastmasters club.
Julie Fronmueller, Coordinator of External Relations and Business Development
Julie Fronmueller holds a BS in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from Boise State University and a Master of Information and Library Science from the University of Louisiana-Baton Rouge. Prior to joining the University, she was an assistant professor of Library Science at Colorado State University-Pueblo where she was the library liaison to the Hasan School of Business and the Department of Mass Communication, Outreach and Programming Coordinator and a member of the Library instruction team.
